We departed Virgin Gorda about 9pm and sailed into St. Martin the next morning on a strong northerly wind. It was a quick passage but boisterous passage! After about 30 minutes of “bumper boats”, we had squeezed into a stern to slot in Marigot. When the weather cleared, we moved around the corner to Grand Case, the self proclaimed Gourmet Capital of the Caribbean. We spent ten great days in Grand Case and the restaurants were indeed pretty good!
